Ask The Special Ed Teacher

This site was created for teachers and educators looking for a better understanding of children with ADD/ADHD.
It is estimated that between 3% and 5% of children have Attention Deficit Disorder. This disorder may affect their ability to learn in typical classroom situations, however, there are many approaches that can benefit these children. This site attempts to aid teachers in developing approaches to increase the effectiveness of their teaching children with Attention Deficit Disorder.

Please feel free to email us with additional topics you would like to see covered on this site or specific questions you may have on dealing with situations in the classroom.

Please visit Allied Products Page to see what products/services you may be able to use in your classroom to help your students. In addition to the products listed on this page, Dr. Brotman offers:
Training and Certification For Using Neurofeedback: 1-1 training, correspondence and group courses for certification in neurofeedback. In those courses, teachers can learn the use of neurofeedback for ADD/ADHD/LD and peak performance for their students.
