When a high school student lacks the motivation to complete his schoolwork, we need to look not only at him but at the reasons behind the lack of motivation.

Self-esteem issues can plague individuals with ADHD. There are many causes but there is help.

Over the past few years, we have come to understand that it is nearly impossible to offer chats that are accessible to everyone due to different time zones.  It is equally important to offer all of our members a place to speak with others in their situation, to be able to vent, share joys and express their frustrations without being judged by others.  Based on this, we are offering email support groups.  This forum allows our members to talk with one another in a private arena.

Please note the following rules:

1) All emails sent to the group will be received by everyone in the group.

2) These groups are not a place to insult or offend any other member.

3) Please respect all points of view. Although some members may not share the same viewpoint, please refrain from offending others.

4) Please keep all conversations family friendly.

5) Violators of these rules will be removed from the list.

6) Any problems with any of the lists should be reported to george@addhelpline.org immediately.

To unsubscribe from any of the above lists, please send an email to staff@addhelpline.org. Please include in your email the email address you are subscribed under and the specific list you subscribe to.  Requests without this information cannot be processed.

Thank you and enjoy your discussions.
